The CA Intermediate registration fees vary based on the number of groups a student registers for and their nationality. Below is the detailed fee structure for both Indian and foreign students:

Candidates/Students from newly formed Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and 8 North-East States, namely, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura may note that with effect from 20th September 2019, ICAI has waived off 75% fee for the students registering from these Union Territories and States for all levels of CA Course.

For CA Intermediate, a common fee concession available is a 75% reduction on the registration fee for wards of deceased ICAI members, meaning they would only pay 25% of the standard registration cost for the CA Intermediate course; this concession applies to all levels of the CA course, including Foundation and Final. 

 

PROCESS FOR CA INTERMEDIATE REGISTRATION

To start the CA Intermediate registration process online, you can either visit the official website or simply visit the Self-Service Portal (SSP) and follow these steps.

Step 1: 

Login to SSP. 

For those students who are new applicants and are eligible for direct entry, ICAI has introduced a new Direct Entry form. You can find the link on SSP and click to proceed. Once you have received your login details in your email, sign in.  Click on the “Apply for Direct Entry for New Applicants”

Follow the steps mentioned above for registration with ICAI.

Step 2: 

Click on “Student Cycle”. Click “Intermediate through PE1/CPT/Foundation. If you’re eligible for Direct Entry, then click on “Intermediate (Direct Entry) for existing student”

Step 3:

If you’re an existing student, your details will be auto-filled. Verify the details and click on “Save and next”.

For new applicants in the direct entry category, fill out the details such as your full name, gender, marital status, DOB, mobile number, email address and other details.   

Step 4:

Students need to furnish the qualification details and should scan the required original documents to upload them.

Step 5:

Students will be asked to provide the choice of medium for their study material and whether they wish to join for single or both groups of CA intermediate exams. Your CA inter-study materials will be dispatched accordingly.

Step 6:

You’ll need to upload your latest photo. The maximum size of the photo you submit should be 21 cm wide by 27 cm long.

Step 7:

After you’ve completed all the above steps, click on “Generate OTP”. You’ll receive the OTP in your registered mobile number and a verification link in your registered email ID.

Step 8:

After entering the OTP, enter the CAPTCHA text and click “Submit.” The ICAI will approve and verify the successful submission.

 

Documents Required:

  •  CA Foundation route entry students need to submit an attested copy of the mark sheet of Class 12th or its equivalent exams along with the Pass Marks statement of examination issued by a recognized 
  • CA Direct Entry Scheme students must submit attested copies of their Graduation/Postgraduate mark statements. They will also be asked to submit their Mark Sheets for the Intermediate level examination of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India or the Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
  • All candidates must provide one recent colour photograph (affixed to the printout of the online successful CA inter-registration form)
  • Attested copy of proof of Nationality, if the student is a foreigner.
  • Attested copy of proof of special category certificate, i.e., SC/ST, OBC, disabled.
