CMA USA Exam Windows 2025: Key Dates, Requirements, and Fees

The CMA (US) exams are conducted thrice a year and the students can select their convenient exam dates and times from the following three windows: -

1. January-February window
2. May-June window
3. September-October window

The dates are the same for each section of the two-part exam. Therefore, the CMA exam part 2 dates are identical to the part 1 dates

CMA USA EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

CMA USA can be pursued after clearing the 12^th board. However, for CMA USA, students must hold a degree (which can be obtained through correspondence). 

EXAM FEES

The CMA US exam fee is $370 per part for students and academics, and $495 per part for professional members.

EXAM REGISTRATION

The CMA US exam registration process is as follows:-

Step 1: Become an IMA member

It is not necessary to join the IMA until you are ready to register for the exams

Step 2: Pay the CMA Entrance fees and Exam Registration Fees

This can be done through the CMA Exam enrolment page on the IMA website.

Step 3: Receive your Authorization Number

After you register for the exam, you will receive an authorization number. The authorization number is needed to schedule your appointment with Prometric.

Step 4: Schedule your Exam 

Schedule your exam date and time with Prometric using your Authorization number
