CMA (US) is a globally recognized professional certification for accounting and financial professionals offered by the IMA (Institute of Management Accountants). With recognition across 170+ countries, the US CMA programme attains exceptional international standing.
The US CMA course offers candidates flexibility in completing their certification. The online US CMA exam comprises two parts, each lasting 4 hours. Passing both parts of the exam takes 12 months, but dedicated study can shorten this to 6 months. Candidates have a maximum of 3 years from registration to complete the course and earn the certification.
CMA US CERTIFICATION PROCESS
Step 1: Enrol in the CMA program
To enroll in the CMA program, you must first join IMA as a member and then enroll as a CMA candidate.
Step 2: Register for the CMA exams
You can sit for CMA Part 1 or Part 2 in any order. Exams are offered at Prometric testing centres only.
Prometric Testing Centers are official test centers operated by Prometric, a global leader in computer-based testing and assessment services.
Step 3: Plan to complete certification requirements
You must meet the education and work experience requirements to earn the certification.
You may complete the exams before you have finished these requirements.

The US CMA exam syllabus comprises of two parts:
Part 1: Financial Planning, Performance and Analytics
