ICAI 60th Campus Placement: Record Rs 26.7 LPA Package and Highlights

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) conducts campus placement programmes
twice a year, providing a dynamic platform for Newly Qualified Chartered Accountants to
connect with organisations seeking top talent.
The ICAI's 60th campus placement concluded with a record domestic package of Rs 26.7 lakh offered by Power Financial Corporation (PFC). Diageo India offered the highest salary package at Rs 29 LPA in the 59th campus placement drive conducted earlier this year.
Generally, 5000 to 6,000 CAs secure jobs in a year but in 2024, around 8,000 CAs were placed in prestigious companies. Usually, around 150 companies come for campus placements in a session, but we saw the highest participation of 241 companies in the 60th placement drive. The data shows the growing demands for CAs in the job market.
The companies that recruited include Adithya Birla Global trading Pvt Ltd, Federal Bank Ltd, NSDL, Adithya Birla Capital Ltd, Development Bank of Singapore, Capital Fortunes (P) Ltd,Wakefit Innovation (P) Ltd, TCS Ltd, JSW Energy Ltd, Vodafone Idea Ltd, Vedanta resources Plc, PWC Service Delivery Centre, EY GDS, KPMG Global Services, Axis Bank Ltd, Infosys Ltd., ITC Ltd., SR Batliboi & Co LLP, Bharath Petroleum Corporation Ltd, Accenture India, Hindalco Industries, Ford Motor (P) Ltd, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd & the Indian Hotels Company Ltd
The ICAI’s 60th CA campus placement drive was held for the qualified CAs of the November 2023 and May 2024 exams. The placements were conducted at the following centers:-
- Big Centers:
Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi & Pune
- Smaller Centers:
Bhubaneswar, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Coimbatore, Durgapur, Ernakulam, Guwahati, Indore, Kanpur, Lucknow, Nagpur, Noida, Patna, Rajkot, Ranchi, Raipur, Ratlam, Thane, Vadodara & Visakhapatnam
ICAI will conduct ‘Overseas placement programme for CAs’ on January 24 and 25, 2025. All ICAI members who have obtained membership of the institute on or prior to October 31, 2023, are eligible to participate in this placement drive.
