ICITSS Registration, Fees, and Guidelines for CA Students

How to register for ICITSS

Students must undergo Information Technology Training in two phases. The first phase occurs before commencing Articleship (practical training), and the second phase occurs before attempting the CA Final examinations. 

ICAI has introduced two courses for this purpose: the Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (ICITSS) and Advanced ICITSS. 

 

HOW TO REGISTER FOR ICITSS 

The registration for ICITSS is done online. Follow the given steps while registering:

Step 1:

Go to the official website of ICITSS -  https://www.icaionlineregistration.org

Step 2:

Go to "(ICITSS) Information Technology" and "Click here to login"

Step 3:

Click on "Register as Student" for NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION

Step 4:

Select your route (CPT/Foundation Route or Direct Entry Route ) enter your Registration Number and DOB and click on "Proceed".

 

Step 5:

Fill in all your basic details like Name, DOB, Reg No, Address, Email, etc. After you enter your basic details, you are required to set a username and password. Once it is done Click on "Submit".

 

Step 6: 
Once your username and password are successfully created, log in using your User Name and Password

Step 7:

Once you have successfully logged in, go to the Dashboard and click on "Apply Course Registration"

 

Step 8:

Course Registration: 

 

  • Select your Respective Region, whichever you belong to - Central, Eastern, Foreign, Northern, Southern, Western.
  • Select the Course - ICITSS ( Information Technology ) or ICITSS ( Orientation Course
  • Click on "Get List" to Register

 

Step 9:
Select the region and course to view the list of batches available. Once you get the list you can register for the slot that you wish to attend.

Step 10:

Once u have registered you will be redirected to the payment page. 

After the payment is successfully done then you will get acknowledgment, kindly go through the instructions and follow the same.

Step 11: 
Generate Acknowledgement of IT or OT training.

 

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED:

The following documents are required to be submitted at the respective training Centre/POU along with an Acknowledgment Slip 2 days before the start of the batch for confirmation of your registration as per the batch schedule mentioned above.

  1. IPCC registration letter/IPCC Marksheet/Admit Card of IPCC, as applicable.
  2. Color passport-size photograph.
  3. Copy of identity card issued by the Institute, or Copy of identity card issued by the Govt. Agency (Voter ID, Driving License, Passport, UID).

In case the required documents are not submitted 2 days before the start of the batch, the seat may be allotted to some other student in waiting and your name may not be considered for the same batch or the immediate next batch due to limited seat availability.

 

ICITSS FEES

The fee for IT Training is ₹ 6,500 and for Orientation training, the fee is ₹ 7,000.

 

WHEN TO REGISTER FOR ICITSS

ICITSS should be done before the articleship training.

If you are a direct entry student, after obtaining a degree certificate, you can register for CA intermediate and once you get the registration letter of intermediate, you can register for icitss before starting your articleship.

If you are a CPT/CA foundation student, you can register for ICITSS after registering for CA intermediate but before starting your articleship. Usually ,most of the students do ICITSS immediately after writing intermediate exams without waiting for the results.

 

GUIDELINES ON LEAVE AND COMPENSATORY CLASSES FOR STUDENTS: 

Students are required to complete the course without discontinuity. 

However, in exceptional circumstances,a  maximum of 1.5 days leave may be granted on submission of supporting documents. The exceptional circumstances are :

  1. Medical reasons
  2. Death of a close relative 
  3. Campus Placement Programme.

Only in these cases, the students do not have to do compensatory classes for 1.5 days. Students who take leave not in exceptional circumstances will compulsorily have to take compensatory classes to get their certificates.

The student is required to complete their compensation classes in the same POU where he/she has attended the training in the previous batch.
